Best overall scooter for the price hands down
"Wanted to wait until I had some miles on it, and ive just hit 90 miles. Kaabo delivered a well-built scooter with strong performance and great ride quality. The suspension and power stand out, and everything feels sturdy and reliable so far. Definitely a brand I'd consider again. I've had NIU and even a segway, the kaabo beats them all"

Just right for the city
"Smooth, steady, and plenty fast for city riding. Handles hills easily and feels great to control. No complaints at all."

The best thing about Kaabo scooters is not the scooters but the people behind the brand
"The best thing about Kaabo scooters is not the scooters but the people behind the brand. . . . Lewis and the team at KaaboUSA in Fremont, CA, are extremely helpful, patient, and professional. He answered all of my questions and concerns, showing great patience. I was able to test ride the models available at the shop, and he never once rushed me. I left with a Mantis X Plus. I hope they decide to develop an app in the future to provide more control and customization of the scooter, as using the P-modes is not enough."

Best Scooters on the market
"Absolutely love this Scooter. The suspension is the best out there. Don't be afraid to send it. I race and jump this regularly. Blows the other scooters out of the water."

Finally, a scooter for the boonies enjoyer.
"I live in the backwoods of Puna. High winds, sudden down pours, gravel roads, steep hills. Just to leave my house, I have to climb half a mile out of a valley with a dirt/gravel road and this scooter doesn't give a single ****. Then I go to the village center and back which is a climb of 400 ft spread over two miles and I can do most of it at top speed. Power output is steady. Accelerates like it never heard of friction on all but the deepest gravel. It actually climbs faster on the gravel than on the highway. Not complaining though. I charge it on my off grid solar. Charger gets very hot, place it carefully. I bought it for the purposes of hustling veggies in my rural community. The scooter is solidly built. I don't see how you could damage it unless you did something dumb. This will get'er done. Only complaint. Please release a repair /maintenance manual. E-scooter repair is still a burgeoning career field. This scooter is worth repairing, upgrading and modding if Kaboo is willing to support that type of customer base with a steady supply of parts and accessible specs. I would love to slap an upgraded battery in this thing two or three years from now and electric motors eat tires something special so I would like to stay stocked on manufactures spec parts. I could see this kind of off road scooter successfully eating into the atv market. A lot of my neighbors use atvs to visit each other on our rough roads. Not only is it not noisy, it doesn't tear up the road the way atvs do. Happy customer. I hope to keep doing business with this company."

Awesome Scooter
"So I've gone on youtube and listened to folks say this scooter is plasticky and frail "feeling" but robust. . . Do yourself a favor and skip ultra negative reviews. . . Most of these guys are plants or either comparing this scooter with other scooters that cost 3 x's the Mantis X Plus. . . First off the only thing that feels plasticky is the acceleration trigger because IT IS PLASTIC. . . This scooter is VERY sturdy and solid. . . The weight is not the lightest but certainly not as heavy as the big dogs. . . It is manageable for a person in shape-ish. . . Speed is great for me. . . I am comfortable at 20-23 mph and that is at level 4. . . Havent even tapped into level 5 yet. . . Suspension is the best ive ridden on hands down. . . If I have a complaint it is that I wish I had more battery power for longevity. . . Not that Ive run out but I hate to see the battery life dwindle as fast as it does. . . For $1299 this scooter worth it. . ."

the MANTIS X Plus 500 mile review
"Ive tested this scooter on many bike trails with hills and it had excellent performance , the 10x3" tires with adjustable suspension has a really nice ride on city streets , for a scooter this size it fells light and highly maneuverable and has plenty of speed for my needs , I got this as my grab and go everyday commuter scooter , easy to transport , charges pretty fast as long as you dont let it get too low on battery , has pretty good range for a heavy rider (220 lbs) I can easily get 20 - 25 miles using gear 2 , thats not bad for a commuter , I use gear 3 for hilly terrain , I never had to use gear 4 or 5 except for testing , the steering feels a little squirlly and the deck does feel kinda short or compact. but overall , I like the Mantis X Plus , I have other bigger faster scooters for different rides, this one is still easy to transport with a quick locking mechanism , excellent turn signals , the best ones Ive tested , even during the day they have good visibility. this is a good choice for commuting / casual rides / transporting"

Impressive
"2nd purchase from Kaabo. . . No regrets. 1st purchase. . . I got a Wolf King GT(DAD) I can't sing its praises enough. It left nothing to be desired. Bought a Mantis X Plus for my little man. He loves it. I love it. The whole family loves it. The suspension is second to none. As advertised, no regrets. I only have 1 wish for improvement and a couple minor issues. 1. Hydraulic Brakes instead of traditional cables and pulleys. Maybe somebody at Kaabo thought Hydraulic Brakes were a bit much, maybe the production or retail cost factored into the desicion, but I think it would have been a kiss of elegance and a bit of engineering perfection in addition to riding on a cloud. 2. The plastic fenders. We broke the rear fender off rolling down off a curb. I won't fault Kaabo for that. I fabricated and modified the remainder of what was salvageable so I could keep the light. 3. Also, no fault of Kaabo. They do recommend the fork suspension for maximum stability at higher speeds and they do acknowledge the suspension setup on the mantis x plus has its limits. Just saying, the stabilty of the suspension on the Mantis X Plus hits its limit at top speed 30-31 mph, even then it's not bad, it's just noticeable that the suspension style has an inherent limit. LOVE YOU KAABO! Thank you!"

CUSTOMER SERVICE 💯👌🏽
"I previously reviewed the scooter and gave it three stars because of the fender, but considering the quality of the scooter in the totality of it, I’ll change my review now two or five based off to the customer service and product together"

NUMBER 1 IN MICRO MOBILITY
"OK, so I’ve had my mantis X for about two weeks now and I must say I’m impressed is a very well built scooter for the price range. All of the functions work very well. It rides excellent and quality of the product is superb. These are my dislikes they don’t offer regenerative breaking on any of their models I wish they did,The battery charging time for the size of the battery is quite long 9hrs, a full charge gets me about 34 actual real miles per charge if you stay in fifth gear as i do I also wish it went a little bit faster at least 35 miles an hour instead of 31. 2 I wish there was a separate deck light to control the deck lighting instead of a separate app in your phone that you have to use not that big of a deal,The ride is too soft springy for me personally it’s a great ride however, very bouncy it is adjustable but even at its tightest setting is too springy for for me turning a corner and going over bumps tends want to lose its footing if not careful, the kickstand is too short. While on the kickstand the slightest bump against the scooter is gonna throw it onto the ground. I must say the customer service initially is what got me to switch from mini motors Dualtron to kaabo and I must say I’m not dissatisfied or regretful my final rating is a 7 of 10"
